Chapter 7, Drill a: Drill forming accusative
and ablative in the third declension.
For each third declension noun or adjective,
give accusative and ablative, either singular or plural as requested.
Remember that you must know the stem from having learned the
genitive, the second part of nouns now supplied in the vocabulary.
Example:
pater (singular) Answer: patrem patre: since the genitive given
in the vocabulary is patris, the stem (what's left after taking
off the -is, the genitive ending) is patr-, the stem, to which
you add the accusative ending -em and ablative -e.
